Indiana

I conduct genealogy research in libraries and courthouses all across Indiana. The ACPL Genealogy Center is a valuable resource to the genealogical community as a whole. The Indiana State Library has over time developed the largest collection of family histories in the Midwest. The Indiana State Archives exists to provide for the protection of, and access to primary-source and historical documents, and those that contribute to Indiana's heritage. The Indiana Historical Society works to collect, preserve, and promote the history of Indiana.

I charge $25.00 per hour to conduct genealogy research. The scope of my work includes:
Review of information provided by client
     Formulation of work plan
Research and analysis (includes travel, telephone and email consultations with client. Negative findings and unsuccessful searches    are charged)
Written report of findings, including negative findings
     Recommendation for future research
Copies, transcriptions or abstracts of documents, as appropriate
     Evaluation of documents
In addition to my hourly fee, reimbursable expenses will be billed to the client:
     Postage (actual charge)
     Photocopies (actual charge)
     Parking (actual charge)
